This breathtaking, authentic Georgian-era bracelet is meticulously crafted from genuine, natural Mediterranean coral. Each and every tiny individual bead was completely hand-carved by early 19th-century artisans in the highly collectible ‘rolling pin’ shape. The beads flare at the ends, so that they nestle beautifully into the neighboring beads. The coral retains a stunning orange hue with a gorgeous natural texture. This style of coral bead necklace and bracelets was extremely fashionable in the early 1800s. The clasp was made from natural coral and hair under glass.
The metal is probably tombac, gold plated.
