This modern style bracelet was made by Fischland factory, George Kramer, in 1960. Made from natural Baltic amber and silver 835. Hallmarks JK and 835 are stamped on the back side.
Silver factory of Georg Kramer from Ribniz on the Baltic Sea around. Manufactured in 1950. The famous Kramer factory was founded around 1771 by G. Kramer . The company became known in the time of Walter Krammer in the 1930s and 1940s with so-called Fischland jewelry which is very easily recognizable due to unique marine motifs with amber. After the Second World War in 1948, the company was expropriated by SMAD and the production of jewelry continued under its own logo (a stylized fish). Today, the successor company, privatized in 1992, produces Baltic Sea Jewellery GmbH more jewelry made of gold and silver with amber.
